What People are Saying

“Our 18-year-old autistic son has worked intensively with over 100 professionals over his lifetime. Melissa is exceptional in how she delights in him as a friend, first.. who happens to be intentional about teaching the higher-level, global skills of being a reciprocal social partner and friend.

Melissa is a quick study, highly intuitive, and dynamic. Our son enjoys his sessions because Melissa keeps him engaged with creative activities, respect, and high expectations. This is not drills and checklists!

I’m thrilled Melissa has opened her own practice. She is uniquely qualified and gifted to teach the ‘hidden curriculum’ that friends with cognitive disabilities find most challenging.”

— Diane Dokko Kim, disability ministry consultant and author of Unbroken Faith: Spiritual Recovery for the Special-Needs Parent

“Melissa Brosch is magnetic! Melissa makes everyone she encounters feel cared for and known and they leave having grown through the experience. Melissa is a dynamic and engaging communicator who is able to dig below the surface of issues in ways that keep you both laughing and wanting to ask more questions. She is a co-learner, a challenger, and a great friend to everyone she meets. I have worked with Melissa for over 20 years and any time spent with her will be beneficial and encouraging.”

— Eric Wakeling, Senior Pastor of Calvary Church of Santa Ana

"It has been my privilege to know Melissa as a member of the Disability Ministry Conference team and as a friend. As chairperson of the DMC, and as a pastor in her own congregation, Melissa has used her gifts and passion to build connections, particularly connecting marginalized individuals to the greater community. The same passion and skill Melissa brings to connections on an organizational level, she also brings to individual relationships. I highly recommend Melissa for anyone looking to improve connection both at the individual as well as the organizational level."
